Maki and Maguro were isekai'd to a world where various cuisine-themed creatures known as Ramemon exist. Initially very excited about this new life, they both set out on their new adventure alongside their Ramemon.
Though, Maki realizes that things aren't so fun when you aren't the hero character.

Him, Maguro.
Not the strongest Ramemon tamer.
Laid-back, shrimpy, cute, and not strong at all.
I can beat him in any Ramemon battle, but I choose not to.

Aww this was so so cute! and that "once in a lifetime(s) ?" joke! XD
I really like how you've captured the idea of Maki journalling all this (and his hands getting a bit side tracked lol) through the use of an NVL style and background. The detail of there actually being a scribble on the page... too good! The exposition is also done really well where it seams like natural musing of the character! The character designs are also super cute!

Oh, this was very sweet and cute!! I enjoyed how we got to learn more about the characters and exactly what happened through the frustrated journaled complaints of the MC. It was a really unique way to bring the characters to life, and it made me that much more curious and wanting to see more of the world?? It feels like Pokemon except with sushi??? Which is such an entertaining and amusing concept, so I really want to see these things LOL
The music and beeping effects really gave the feel of old-school RPGs, which I found really delightful. Plus it matched so well with the theme of being whisked away to this magical world. And I loved Maki's begrudging tone as he complained and complained about Maguro -- and then ended up doodling a picture of him in the end because clearly he can't stop thinking about it
and may or may not feel some definitely not love feelings about himðŸ¤ðŸ’• The reveal at the end of the doodle was super cute, especially with how annoyed it makes Maki after seeing what he's done LOL Also loved Maki complaining about being the rival/side character rather than the main character.Just really super cute! I enjoyed this little glimpse into these two chars and their world!! 💕

YES!! I was thinking of another theme but then I saw that shrimp Miku floating around and I was like "yeah we need more seafood characters" and so Maguro and Maki were born.
